This repository holds code for aligning the backbone of taxonomy of Tree of Life Web Project (ToLweb) to the Open Tree of Life's taxonomy (ott).

Goals:
   * Find taxonomic names in ToLweb which are not in ott
   * generate a "phyloreference" for ToLweb names of higher level taxa
   * create a list of ToLweb taxon names that can be mapped to a tree in ott
