# PixelShot

PixelShot is a Android library that can save any `View`, `SurfaceView` and full sized `RecyclerView` as an image in either `JPG`,`PNG` or `.nomedia`

The library works on a asynchronous background thread and handles errors of I/O operations and memory handling for you. 
Note: Taking an image of a SurfaceView is only supported from `minApi 24`

## Example of simplest usage:

Filename will be named from a timestamp.   
Path will default to `/Pictures` in internal storage.   
Image format will default to `.JPG`

```java
   PixelShot.of(view).setResultListener(this).save();
```

## Example of a detailed usage:
```java
    PixelShot.of(view).setResultListener(this)
                      .setFilename("Hello World")
                      .setPath("MySickApp/media/pictures")
                      .toPNG()
                      .save();
```

## Installation

Add the dependency in your `build.gradle`
```groovy
dependencies {
    implementation 'com.muddzdev:pixelshot:1.2.0'  
}
```
