Downloads use `curl.exe` and show a live progress bar. The archive installs at `/data/yangmy/.vscode-server/bin/` by default. SSH authentication is handled by OpenSSH; no password or private key is stored in this repository. The target is not overwritten if it already exists. Options: ```text --host USER@HOST SSH destination (required) --port PORT SSH port (default: 22) --install-dir PATH Server install root (default: /data/yangmy/.vscode-server) --commit HASH Override the commit read from local VS Code --proxy URL HTTP/SOCKS proxy; defaults to HTTPS_PROXY/ALL_PROXY if set ``` For Remote-SSH, configure the same server root and use the classic server layout: ```json { "remote.SSH.serverInstallPath": { "your-ssh-host-alias": "/data/yangmy/.vscode-server" }, "remote.SSH.useExecServer": false } ``` The key in `serverInstallPath` must match the SSH host alias used to connect. If connecting directly by IP, use the exact host identifier shown in Remote-SSH. The Server commit must match the local VS Code commit. If VS Code is updated, run the script again to install the new commit.
