# HYDD Environment Manager (好运哒哒环境管理)

## Introduction

**HYDD Environment Manager** is a macOS local development environment manager distributed as a single self-contained `.app`. The entire runtime stack — MySQL, Redis, Nginx and PHP — is bundled inside the app and managed through a Chinese-language, BaoTa-style web panel. Copy it to any Mac and it just runs: **no dependencies need to be installed on the target machine**.

It is a great fit for locally developing WordPress / Typecho sites, and works just as well as a general-purpose local PHP + MySQL environment.

**Service management**
- MySQL 8.0 / 5.7 dual versions with free switching, one-click start/stop, automatic initialization of fresh data directories
- Redis (bundled, self-compiled binary) with 16 databases that can be assigned per site
- Nginx (self-compiled with OpenSSL 3 / HTTP2), shared multi-site instance with rewrite templates
- PHP 5.4 – 8.4 (7 versions) selectable per site; extensions compiled & installed online via PECL; php.ini edited in-browser (auto backup before change, validation after)

- Two hosting modes: PHP built-in server (lightweight debugging) / Nginx + PHP-CGI (production-like)
- Per-site PHP version, port, rewrite rules, and SSL certificate info

- Create / drop databases, change passwords, grant privileges; backup / restore / import / export (SQL files)

- The panel listens on `127.0.0.1` only — unreachable from external networks
- Every risky operation (config changes / extension installs / upgrades) is backed up, validated, and rolled back on failure

## Quick Start

1. **Download**: Grab `好运哒哒环境管理.app` from the [Releases page](https://gitee.com/haoyundada/env-manager/releases) (placeholder — replace with your actual repo URL)
2. **Install**: Drag the app into "Applications" or any folder (if Gatekeeper blocks the first launch, right-click → Open)
3. **Launch**: Double-click the app; once the menu-bar icon appears, the panel opens automatically at `http://127.0.0.1:8282`
4. **Create a site**: Go to the "Sites" page, create a site, pick a PHP version, drop your code into the site root — done

> The first launch initializes the MySQL data directory (a dozen seconds or so); every launch after that is ready within 10 seconds.

## Licensing

- **7-day free trial** with all features unlocked on first use
- After the trial, purchase a license: monthly / yearly / lifetime, with renewal and paid upgrades supported
- Licenses are bound to the machine code; activate via "Settings → License" (online purchase or license key)

## FAQ

Gatekeeper blocks unsigned apps on first launch: right-click the app → "Open" → "Open" again. If macOS reports the file as damaged, run:
`xattr -cr /Applications/好运哒哒环境管理.app`

Yes. The bundled runtime is Intel-based; just install Rosetta 2 first: `softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license`

Another MySQL / Redis is probably running locally (e.g. installed via Homebrew). Stop the old service first, or check the port usage on the panel's Overview page and kill the process.

All runtimes and data live inside the app bundle (`Contents/Resources/project/`), fully isolated from your system. Deleting the app removes everything — no leftovers.

Use "Check for Updates" in the panel: with auto-update enabled on the server side it downloads and installs in one click; in manual mode, download the upgrade package and upload it in the panel. Upgrades only replace panel code — your sites and databases are untouched, and everything is backed up before install.

## Technical Highlights

- Backend implemented with the **Python 3 standard library only** (no Flask / Django), shipped with its own embedded Python runtime
- Frontend built with **Tailwind CSS v4**, dark theme, hash-routed SPA, fully localized assets (works offline)
- All service binaries are relocated (`@loader_path` + re-signing), so the whole bundle is portable
