# Google Cloud IoT Device SDK port for Mbed OS

This library provides the port of the Google Cloud IoT Device SDK for Embedded C for Mbed OS. It can be used to connect devices running Mbed OS to the Google IoT Core over MQTT.

To use this library, an Mbed OS application needs to
* get the default instance of NetworkInterface and connect to the Internet.
* ensure the clock is set to the actual date and time as credentials require that.

Then it will be able to use [APIs](https://googlecloudplatform.github.io/iot-device-sdk-embedded-c/bsp/html/index.html) from the Google cloud IoT Device SDK.

An example demonstrating the use of this library has been provided as part of the official Mbed OS examples [here](https://github.com/ARMmbed/mbed-os-example-for-google-iot-cloud.git).
