## English

Keep one trusted rules library and write the right rules to Cursor, Trae,
OpenCode, and other AI coding tools—without maintaining the same files in
multiple places.

Rules Manager is a desktop app for **Windows** and **macOS**. It helps you:

- **Manage once** — browse, preview, create, and import rules in one library
- **Use across tools and projects** — write selected rules where each coding
  tool expects them
- **Back up when you choose** — optionally connect your own Git remote for
  pull and backup

### Install — Windows

1. Download `*-setup.exe` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/MoonTrackDeveloper/RulesManager/releases/latest) or [Gitee Releases](https://gitee.com/MoonTrackDeveloper/RulesManager/releases/latest)
2. Run the installer and complete the wizard
3. Launch **Rules Manager** from the Start menu

### Install — macOS (Apple Silicon)

1. Download `*_aarch64.dmg` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/MoonTrackDeveloper/RulesManager/releases/latest) or [Gitee Releases](https://gitee.com/MoonTrackDeveloper/RulesManager/releases/latest)
2. Open the DMG; accept the license if prompted, then drag **Rules Manager** to Applications
3. Launch from Applications (or Spotlight). If macOS blocks the first launch, open **System Settings → Privacy & Security** and allow **Rules Manager** to open

**Intel Mac (x86_64)** is not supported in this release channel.

### SmartScreen (Windows)

Installers are not code-signed. If you see "Unknown publisher", choose **More info** → **Run anyway**. Download only from official GitHub or Gitee Releases on this repository.

### Gatekeeper (macOS)

The app is not notarized by Apple. macOS may block the first launch — allow it under **System Settings → Privacy & Security** (exact wording varies by macOS version). Download only from official GitHub or Gitee Releases on this repository.

### Data & Privacy

Rules Manager does **not** collect telemetry, crash reports, or analytics, and
does not require an account. Your rules and settings stay on your computer.
Network access is used only when you connect a Git remote. Git credentials are
handled by your system; Rules Manager does not store private keys or tokens.

Uninstall: **Windows** — Settings → Apps → Rules Manager → Uninstall. **macOS** — drag **Rules Manager** from Applications to Trash (rule library under `~/.rules-manager/` is kept).

The [license](LICENSE) grants **personal use** only. For company-wide or bulk deployment, open a [GitHub Issue](https://github.com/MoonTrackDeveloper/RulesManager/issues) to discuss — do not assume team Git sync implies a site license.
