It could be helpful for us to know better about the data source of the metrics, if there is a schema definition of these data.
It could be csv file which specifies the fields of name,type,description. We can add another field of aggregatable (using ElasticSearch terminology).
For the Grimoirelab, there are some schema definitions which we can take as an reference.
