# Abyss MOD

Abyss MOD - An original RPG expansion mod designed for Minecraft Forge 1.20.x

## Introduction

Abyss is an original RPG expansion mod designed for Minecraft Forge 1.20.x, adding a powerful set of Abyss Armor, unique weapons, and various passive and active special mechanics.

## Core Features

### Abyss Armor

The complete four-piece armor set grants the player powerful attribute bonuses:

|------|----------|
| Helmet | Attack Damage + Enchantment Book (Increases Max Mana and Cooldown Reduction) |
| Chestplate | Max HP + Enchantment Book Bonus |
| Leggings | Movement Speed + Attack Speed |
| Boots | Step Height |

### Abyss Spear

A dragon-themed polearm weapon with the following special abilities:

- **Dragon Charge**: Hold right-click to charge, then charge forward
- **Phantom Follow**: Display a following dragon phantom in third-person view
- **Special Damage Type**: Deals unique spear damage

### Apostle System

When other players also wear a complete Abyss Armor set:

- **Aura**: Nearby players receive attribute bonuses
- **Cap**: Reduces total damage received
- **Retrace**: Reflects part of the damage back to the attacker

### Special Link Mechanisms

- **Desolation Link**: Makes hostile mobs within range neutral
- **Infinitum Link**: Attaches extra damage upon attacking and gives the target a "Wound" debuff
- **Pan Link**: Special food effect
- **Amulet Link**: Keeps XP upon death, with a chance to not drop items

## Visual Effects

- **Apostle Afterimage**: Displays the player's previous trail
- **Dragon Phantom**: Displays a following dragon in third-person view
- **Title Name**: Special name rendering for Abyss Apostles
- **Chat Flow Prefix**: Flowing effect in the chat box
- **Dynamic Armor Texture**: Animated armor appearance

## Configuration Options

### Client Configuration

- Afterimage effect toggle and parameters
- Dragon phantom effect toggle and parameters
- Camera distance adjustment

### Server Configuration

- Various effect toggles
- Value balancing (Aura range, damage cap, multipliers, etc.)
- Armor durability and defense values
- Weapon parameters

Use the `/abyss config` command to open the configuration interface.

## Installation

1. Ensure **Minecraft Forge 1.20.x** is installed
2. Download the mod's JAR file
3. Place the JAR into the `.minecraft/mods` folder
4. Launch the game
