本契约面向通用设备驱动（实验仪器、工控设备、医疗设备、分析仪等），但非操作系统内核式的驱动。本契约注重设备驱动的能力：一次有始有终、有序、有时长、可能多阶段的动作，其典型过程如："连接 → 初始化 → 设参数 → 启动 → 等待 → 读数 → 停止"，时序由设备自身的物理过程决定。
