## 2. How the patch is generated

The patch is generated by comparing `msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw`'s branch [mingw-v3.10.2](https://github.com/msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw/commits/mingw-v3.10.2)(commit `3c3024505960f8172aa9f848847e1390125235c1`) against `cpython`'s branch [v3.10.2](https://github.com/python/cpython/commits/v3.10.2)(commit `a58ebcc701dd6c43630df941481475ff0f615a81`)

## 3. Building

With this PR, building on Linux fails unless `llvm` and `MinGW-w64` are built first. The script for building is provided by [\[LLDB\]\[Windows\] Fix bundled Python 3.10.2](https://gitee.com/openharmony/third_party_llvm-project/pulls/264).

The steps of building are outlined as follows:

1. Fetch OpenHarmony LLVM repositories with

```
mkdir -p $HOME/llvm-toolchain
cd $HOME/llvm-toolchain
repo init -u https://gitee.com/OpenHarmony/manifest.git -b master -m llvm-toolchain.xml
repo sync -c 
repo forall -c 'git lfs pull'
```

2. Fetch OpenHarmony's Python

```
cd $HOME/llvm-toolchain
git clone https://gitee.com/openharmony/third_party_python.git third_party/python
# Cherry-pick this PR
cd third_party/python
git fetch https://gitee.com/openharmony/third_party_python.git pull/49/head:pr_49 && git cherry-pick pr_49
```

3. Fetch [LLVM's PR](https://gitee.com/openharmony/third_party_llvm-project/pulls/264)

```
cd $HOME/llvm-toolchain/toolchain/llvm-project
git fetch https://gitee.com/openharmony/third_party_llvm-project.git pull/264/head:pr_264 && git cherry-pick pr_264
```

4. Build LLVM

```
cd $HOME/llvm-toolchain
# update prebuilts, no need to run each time
./toolchain/llvm-project/llvm-build/env_prepare.sh
# build
python3 ./toolchain/llvm-project/llvm-build/build.py
```

If successful, Python 3.10.2 for Windows is located at `$HOME/llvm-toolchain/out/windows-x86_64-install/bin/python`

## 4. Test

### 4.1 How to test

[msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw](https://github.com/msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw/blob/mingw-v3.10.2/.github/workflows/mingw.yml#L92C24-L92C24) on Github gives a hint about how to run Python's test cases.

```

`mingw_ignorefile.txt` above is also from [msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw](https://github.com/msys2-contrib/cpython-mingw/blob/mingw-v3.10.2/mingw_ignorefile.txt).
